Julia Szymczakiewicz is a law student at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. Her academic and professional interests center on individual and collective labor law, employment law, and the law of new technologies, with a particular focus on the use of artificial intelligence in the workplace.
She is also developing her interests in the areas of civil law, compliance issues, the impact of European regulations on business obligations, and issues of economic criminal law, particularly those related to corporate liability and corporate governance.
She is actively involved in academic and organizational activities. She serves as president of the “Career in Economy 5.0” Academic Club, where she coordinates projects and organizes meetings on careers, employment law, labor market abuses, and the use of new technologies in the workplace. She is also a speaker at academic conferences on labor law, where she addresses topics such as the use of artificial intelligence in recruitment processes and the effectiveness of anti-harassment procedures. Since the beginning of her studies, she has also been involved in student government and international projects, developing her organizational skills and gaining experience in collaborating with representatives from various backgrounds.
